Mukund Sasikumar wins in Doha tennis tournament's singles final, loses in doubles semis

Chandigarh/UNI: Second seed Mukund Sasikumar defeated Dominik Palan of Czech Republic 7-6 (5), 6-1 in singles semi-final of the USD 15,000 ITF Men's Tennis Tournament in Doha (Qatar) on Saturday.

Mukund, ranked 420th will fight for the title against 553rd ranked Hady Habib of Lebanon who toppled top seed Yu Hslou Hsu 6-3, 6-4 in the second semi-final.

In the doubles semi-final, Mukund and Adil Kalyaanpur were beaten by the French pair of Maxence Broville and Axel Garclan 6-3, 6-2.
