New Delhi, Jan 29 (IBNS): Indian sporting legend Sachin Tendulkar on Sunday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for citing his example to students during his monthly radio address-Mann Ki Baat.

In his latest  radio address, Modi spoke on the issue of examination.

"Thank you @PMOIndia for the mention. Preparation is key for everyone..be it a student or a player. Focus makes the challenge less daunting," Tendulkar tweeted thanking the PM.

The PM in his address mentioned Tendulkar's glorious chapter as a cricketer and said: "Look at the life of Sachin Tendulkar. He kept challenging himself and bettered his own records. That is what is inspiring."

Modi on Sunday addressed his monthly radio broadcast 'Mann Ki Baat' where he urged students to celebrate exams as festivals while not taking pressure.

PM Modi dedicated Sunday's 'Mann Ki Baat' to students who are appearing for board exams this year.

"Do not think about exams as pressure. Exams should be celebrated as festivals. It is upto you, how you want to appear for the exams," said he.

Modi  urged students not to run behind marks.

"Smile more and score more. Remain happy and stress free to score more marks in the exams," said he.
