Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero injured in a car crash in Amsterdam

Amsterdam, Sep 29 (IBNS): Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero, has been injured in a car crash in Amsterdam as he was coming back from a concert, media reports said.

The Argentine player was on his way to the airport on Thursday night when his cab has crashed in the De Boelelaan area of the city.

Police confirmed to BBC that there were two people in the cab.

Manchester City said that the 29-year old footballer was in Holland on his off-day.

He is likely to miss the match against Chelsea on Saturday, some media reports said.

However, Aguero will be examined by the City's medical team.
