Kolkata, July 25 (IBNS): West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday wished the Indian team for beating West Indies in the first Test of the series on Sunday.

"Congratulations to Team India for their Test win against West Indies. Keep winning . Keep winning," Mamata Banerjee tweeted as she wished skipper Virat Kohli and his men over the victory.

Ravichandran Ashwin performed brilliantly as he picked up seven wickets to destroy the West Indies batting line-up and help India script a victory by an innings and 92 runs over the current T20 World Champions in the first Test of the four-match series here on Sunday
