Jimmy Neesham named in NZ side to tour India

Wellington, Sept 6 (IBNS): Jimmy Neesham has been named in the New Zealand Test squad which will arrive in India later to play series in the Asian nation.

Neesham had last played for the home side in a Test series against Australia in November last year.

The cricketer  had returned home after suffering back pain while bowling.

New Zealand will play three Tests in India in Kanpur, Kolkata and Indore.

Selector Gavin Larsen was quoted as saying by the official website of New Zealand Cricket, "Jimmy has put in a lot of work to make sure he is physically ready for a return to Test cricket."
