Jammu and Kashmir: Marathon held in Pulwama, Carrom Championship in Budgam

 Srinagar: As a part of Police Commemoration week to commemorate the sacrifices of Police martyrs, J&K Police organised a Marathon in Pulwama and Carrom Championship in Budgam.

In Pulwama, the run was flagged off by SSP Pulwama Ghulam Jeelani Wani besides COs 182 Bn and 183 Bn CRPF and other senior officers of Police were also present.

The Marathon was categorized in two groups of Under-19 age group and above-19 age group in which Police, CAPF, students and local youth of Pulwama participated.

The Marathon started from Bonoora crossing and culminated at Payer Crossing for the Under-19 age group, while it culminated at Koil Crossing for above-19 age group participants.

In conclusion, the chairing officers congratulated the winners and distributed cash prizes among first three position holders in both age groups.
