IPL 2019: Mumbai Indians outplay Chennai Super Kings by 37 runs

Mumbai: Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians outplayed Chennai Super Kings by 37 runs in an Indian Premier League match at the Wankhede Stadium here on Wednesday.

Chasing a target of 171, Chennai could score only 133/8 in 20 overs.

Kedar Jadhav was the top scorer for Chennai. He scored 58 off 54 balls.

Lasith Malinga and Hardik Pandya shared three wickets each for Mumbai.

Earlier, Mumbai scored 170/5 in 20 overs.

Suryakumar Yadav (59) and Krunal Pandya (42) were the top scorers for the men-in-blue.

While Hardik Pandya smashed an unbeaten 25 off eight balls, Kieron Pollard scored not out 17 off seven balls.

Ravindra Jadeja had the best bowling figure for Chennai. He picked one wicket for 10 runs in two overs.
