India's Jitu Rai wins gold in shooting

Gold Coast, Apr 9 (IBNS): India's gold rush continued as   Jitu Rai won gold medal  in the men's 10m Air Pistol event at the 21st Commonwealth Games  on Monday.

Jitu clinched gold by touching new CWG record of 235.1 in the final.

Kerry Bell of Australia  went home with the silver medal.

He scored 233.5 for the second place.

India's Om Mitharwal  won bronze.

Jitu reached the final round of the event with a score of 570.
