Indian women's cricket team is going to have a preparatory camp in early June

Mumbai, May 29 (IBNS): Indian women's cricket team is all set to have a preparatory camp early in the month of June ahead of the World Cup 2017, that is scheduled to begin here in June 24 this year, according to a press release issued by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday.

The preparatory camp will be held between June 6 to June 10, 2017.

The national team of women's cricket in India which had a winning streak of 16 matches recently, got Biju George as its new fielding coach appointed with less than a month to go for the biggest tournament of cricket.

The women's WC will be hosted by England and Wales where currently the Champions Trophy of men's cricket is going on.

The team will leave for England on June 11 and would play three warm up matches in total before their first group match against England.
