India dominate second day of third Test, Sri Lanka struggle at 19/1

Pallekele, Aug 13 (IBNS): India dominated the second day of the third Test against Sri Lanka as the homeside was bowled out for 135 runs and strggling at 19 runs for the loss of a wicket in the second innings here on Sunday.

India posted massive 487 runs in their first innings.

Hardik Pandya remained the hero for the day as the Indian batsman smashed 108 runs in his 96-ball knock.

Kuldeep Yadav added 26 runs with his willow.

Sri Lanka still trail India's first innings total by 333 runs.

Upul Tharanga perished in the Sri Lankan second innings by adding jusy 7 runs.

Dimuth Karunaratne (12) and Malinda Pushpakumara (0) will resume proceedings for Sri Lanka.

Umesh Yadav has picked up the wicket of the Sri Lankan opener.

The second day o the match witnessed the loss of 15 wickets in total.

In the Sri Lankan first innings, it was only skipper Dinesh Chandimal  who remaied the top scorer with 48 runs.

Kuldeep Yadav shined with the ball and picked up four wickets for India.
