India beat Malaysia 6-2 in Asia Cup clash

Dhaka, Oct 19 (IBNS): In another crucial Super 4s match of the Hero Asia Cup Hockey, India destroyed Malaysia 6-2 here on Thursday.

The Indian team gifted their nation the best Diwali gift possible with a memorable victory against Malaysia.

India continued attacking the Malaysian defence right from the start of the clash.

After the victory, India reached the top of the chart with four points.

India will now fight again Pakistan. In the Group A clash, earlier in the tournament, India had defeated the neighbouring nation 3-1.

South Korea and Pakistan have drawn 1- 1 in the other clash of the day.

Indian players pumped in six goals for the side.

Malaysia reduced the gap with two goals scored by Razie Rahim and Ramadan Rosli.
