Gionee names Indian skipper Virat Kohli as bran ambassador

New Delhi, Jan 9 (IBNS): Smartphone maker Gionee on Monday announced Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli as their brand ambassador.

"Our CEO, @ArvindRVohra unveils the secret! Let's welcome the new captain, @imVkohli to the Gionee team with a big cheer & a bigger smile," Gionee India tweeted.

Kohli also made the announcement and tweeted: "A new year. A new start. And a new reason to #MakeSmiles, @GioneeIndia @ArvindRVohra."

He was recently named the captain of the Indian team in all the three formats of the game after MS Dhoni resigned.
