FIFA World Cup: Saudi Arabia beat Egypt 2-1

Volgograd, Jun 25 (IBNS): Saudi Arabia defeated Egypt in a Group A match of the FIFA World Cup 2018 at the Volgograd Arena here on Monday.

Saudi Arabia defeated Egypt 2-1.

The two goals for Saudi Arabia were scored by Salman Al-Faraj and Salem Al-Dawsari at 45'+6' and 90'+5' respectively.

Mohamed Salah scored the lone goal for Egypt at the 22nd minute of the match.

Uruguay and Russia reached the last 16 of the tournament from Group A with nine and six points respectively.
