Volgograd, Jun 22 (IBNS): Nigeria defeated Iceland in a Group D match of the FIFA World Cup 2018 at the Volgograd Arena Stadium here on Friday.

Nigeria outplayed Iceland 2-0.

Both the goals were scored by Ahmed Musa at the 49th and the 75th minutes of the match.

This was the first win of Nigeria. They moved to the second spot of the table with three points.
