FIFA World Cup: Brazil eye on first win against Costa Rica

Saint Petersburg, Jun 22 (IBNS): After failing to clinch a win in the opening match against Switzerland, Brazil will look to get the taste of their first victory in the FIFA World Cup 2018 against Costa Rica at the Saint Petersburg Stadium here on Friday.

Brazil had drawn their previous match against Switzerland on Sunday.

Both the teams had scored a goal each.

A win for Brazil is crucial to be relevant in the tournament.

The sporting encounter between Brazil and Costa Rica will begin at 5.30 pm IST.

In other Group E match, Serbia will take on Switzerland on Friday. The match will begin at 11.30 pm IST.

Nigeria and Iceland will face each other in a Group D match, which is scheduled to kick off at 8.30 pm IST.
