Ex-Indian cricketer Sreerupa Bose dies,Mamata Banerjee mourns

Kolkata, Nov 30 (IBNS): Ex-Indian women's cricket team coach and batswoman Sreerupa Bose Mukherjee died in Kolkata on Thursday.

She was 66.

According to reports, she suffered from massive cardiac arrest.

She played two One Day Internationals for India.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee mourned her death and tweeted: "Saddened that Srirupa Basu Mukherjee passed. She played cricket for India & coached the national team.Condolences to her family & friends."
