Delhi Test: Sri Lanka put up strong fight for a draw against India

New Delhi, Dec 6 (IBNS): Sri Lanka stood firm in front of India's 2-0 win in the Test series as the visitors are fighting hard to draw the final Test match on the ongoing series at Feroz Shah Kotla here on Wednesday.

Chasing a target of 410 runs, Indian bowlers could not only manage two wickets since morning on Day 5.

Dhananjaya de Silva scored a 119 runs innings for Sri Lanka. He was retired hurt.

Sri Lanka, adding to the overnight score, scored 247/5 as per the latest update.

While India need five more wickets, Sri Lanka require 167 runs to win the match.

Around 20 more overs to be bowled in the day.

India lead the three-match Test series 1-0.
