Delhi Capitals fast bowler Kagiso Rabada to miss remaining of IPL

New Delhi, May 3 (UNI/IBNS) JSW and GMR co-owned franchise, Delhi Capitals, on Friday announced that South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada is all set to return to his homeland as a precautionary measure for the upcoming World Cup.

The fast bowler is the current Purple Cap holder in the Indian Premier League.

The IPL tournament is currently in the midway.

23-year-old Rabada picked up 25 wickets in the 12 matches that he played this season.

Delhi Capitals tweeted: "@KagisoRabada25 to miss the rest of our season after being recalled by Cricket SA for precautionary reasons ahead of the World Cup.#ThankYouKagiso #ThisIsNewDelhi #DelhiCapitals."

Delhi Capitals have qualified for the playoffs and will play Rajasthan Royals in their last league game of the season on Saturday, at the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium.
