Commonwealth Games: Tejaswini Sawant wins silver in women's 50m rifle

Gold Coast, Apr 12 (IBNS): Tejaswini Sawant has won a silver medal in women's 50m rifle on the eighth day of the 21st Commonwealth Games on Thursday.

Wrestlers Rahul Aware and Sushil Kumar reached finals in their respective categories in men's freestyle competition.

Badminton player Kidambi Srikanth entered Men's Singles quarterfinals by beating Sri Lanka's Niluka Karunaratne.

PV Sindhu, India's premier female shuttler, reached the Women's Singles quarterfinals by beating Australia's Hsuan-Yu Wendy Chen.
