Chris Gayle touches Shahid Afridi's sixer record

Antigua, July 30 (IBNS): In a third ODI match between West Indies and Bangladesh, hard-hitting batsman Chris Gayle smashed five sixes to equal the record of ex-Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi to become the most number of six hitter in International cricket. 

In the exciting match, Gayle hammered 73-run from 66 balls.

Both Shahid and Chris have 476 sixes against their names.

Gayle touched the milestone in  443 matches .

Shahid had reached the landmark in 524 matches.

However, Bangladesh defeated West Indies in the final ODI to win the series 2-1.
