Brazil's ex-footballer Ronaldo admitted to hospital with pneumonia

New York, Aug 12 (IBNS): Brazil football star Ronaldo on Sunday said he is currently admitted in a hospital.

The Brazilian soccer star is currently suffering from pneumonia.

Ronaldo said he was taken ill on Friday.

He said he is expected to be released from hospital on Monday.

"Friends, I had a strong flu picture in Ibiza and I had to be boarded on Friday but it's all in order. I get the discharge tomorrow and come back home. Thank you all for your love and your messages!," Ronaldo tweeted.

In his career, Ronaldo scored 62 goals for Brazil.

He had scored two goals for Brazil in the final of the World Cup 2002.

Brazil defeated Germany in the final to lift the cup.
