Brathwaite smashes 53 no, West Indies post 107 for one

Gros Islet, Aug 11 (IBNS): Losing the wicket of Leon Johnson (23), West Indies finished the second day's proceedings at 107 runs for the loss of one wicket here on Wednesday.

Kraigg Brathwaite (53*) and Darren Bravo (18*) remained unbeaten at stumps.


Brathwaite smashed six boundaries of 143 balls.

Johnson was run out after he and his partner Brathwaite added 59 runs in the first wicket partnership.


The Indian bowlers, who were getting some movement  from the new ball, could not pick up a wicket.

Earlier, India were all out for 353 runs.

R Ashwin (118) and Wriddhiman Saha (104) remained the top scorers  for the side.


West Indies are 246 runs behind.
