New Delhi, Jul 29 (UNI) Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) might intervene to sort out the differences between Skipper Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma which have hit headlines since the Men in Blue were exited from the ICC World Cup.

According to media reports, Head Coach Ravi Shastri might talk to the two lead players. Shastri is considered close to the captain.

Several reports have claimed that all is not well between Kohli and his deputy, who was also reportedly in contention for the captain's post in the shorter formats of the game.

The selection panel has retained Kohli as skipper in all formats for the upcoming tour of West Indies.

The Indian team is scheduled to leave for the US on Monday where they will play first two T20Is in Florida before leaving for the Caribbean to play the rest of the matches scheduled to be played against the West Indies.

India will play three T20Is, as many ODIs and two Tests against West Indies starting from July 03. Captain Kohli will address the pre-departure press conference on Monday in Mumbai.
