BCCI appoints Saba Karim as Cricket Operations General Manager

Mumbai, Dec 23 (IBNS): The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday announced the appointment of ex-Indian cricketer Saba Karim as General Manager, Cricket Operations.

"Some of the major responsibilities of Mr Karim include giving strategic direction to the cricket department, implementing the operational plans, budgeting, determining and monitoring the compliance of match playing regulations, standards of venues, administration of Domestic Program," read the statement issued by the BCCI.

Karim played 34 ODIs and one Test for India.
