Venice, July 13 (IBNS): Serbian tennis ace Ana Ivanovic on Tuesday tied the knot with German soccer star and skipper Bastian Schweinsteiger in a Venetian wedding, according to reports.

Prior to their wedding, the two recently suffered setbacks in their respective professional careers, as Ivanovic's round one exit from the Wimbledon shocked her fans and the same was dealt to the German faithfuls upon Germany's exit from the semifinal of the recently concluded UEFA Euro.

The two have been dating since 2014.

While Ana is a former French Open champion, her husband is a FIFA World Cup winner.
