London, Sept 10 (IBNS): Former England skipper Alastair Cook added one more feather to his cap on Monday when he became the fifth player in the history of the game to score a century in the debut and final Test match of his career.

In his last innings, Cook scored a heroic century against England in the second innings of the fifth Test match.

England already won the series 3-1.

Cook is playing the last Test match of his career.

Interestingly, Cok had scored 106 runs in his debut Test match against India in 2006.

This was Cook's 33rd Test century.

He became the first England batsman to achieve the feat in Test.
