'Abar Awronne Din Ratri', which is helmed by Indo Americana Production, is a tale of three women bloggers- played by Paayel, Rupsha and Alivia- visiting Dooars for a shoot.

Speaking about her character, Paayel said, "My character comes from a dysfunctional family. She has a lot of unresolved issues in life. She is a director and undertakes a trip to shoot a travel story. She is joined by old friends.

"My character has a zone of her own. She often zones out. The story delves into her unresolved issues which disturb her."

The film was shot in Dooars for 15 days. The India-Bhutan border was also a location where Maitra ventured for the shooting.

"I wanted to break the notion that only boys take trips. I wanted to venture into the forest as well. This is a complete package. The film has a lot of surprising elements which will be revealed slowly," said Maitra.
