Kolkata, Jan 18 (IBNS): Promising to provide entertainment to his fans this winter season, Bengali director Srijit Mikherji's latest movie  Shah Jahan Regency released on Friday.

Expectations are high from this movie after Srijit's last two releases-‘Uma’ and ‘Ek Je Chhilo Raja- earned appreciations from movie lovers.

‘Shah Jahan Regency’ is an adaptation of Mani Shankar Mukherjee’s (better known as Shankar) bestselling novel, ‘Chowringhee’ which was later made into an iconic  film of the same name, with Tollywood heart throb, the late Uttam Kumar, in the lead.

The starcast of the film include names like Abir Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee, Anjan Dutt, Swastika Mukherjee, Rittika Sen and Anirban Bhattacharya.
