Police Filez team reaches out to help victims of flood affected areas

Kolkata, Sept 5 (IBNS): Aakash Aath, a Bengali general entertainment channel, recently reached out in helping the people of Harimandir area, which was badly affected by flood.

The entire team of Police Filez, the most popular investigative journalism based programme aired Aakash Aath had been instrumental in collecting relief fund to reach out to the flood affected victims of these waterlogged areas of Pallisri in Harimandir and extending their support.

The team provided food, clothes and basic amenities to the inhabitants of these areas.

“When we started off as Aakash Aath we clearly had a zone of operation but as days went by our periphery got extended. We realised that it is necessary to reach out to people who needs our help and support in their difficult times. We have provided support to numerous social activities over a period of time. When the Police Filez team identified the grim situation the people of Harimandir area affected by flood were facing, we took a humanitarian approach in helping them”, said Eshita Surana, Director, Aakash Aath.
