Makers of Bengali film 'Babar name Gandhiji' reveals its trailer

Kolkata, Sept 19 (IBNS): Upcoming Bengali film 'Babar name Gandhiji' on Wednesday launched its trailer, starring actors Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Kaushik Sen, Sayani Ghosh and Surajit Mukherjee.

A directorial debut of Pavel , the film portrays the life of a young orphan boy Kencho played by Surajit Mukherjee.

Director Pavel said the film is based on a simple story.

The director said: “I consider myself lucky enough to be give an opportunity by my producer to direct such a film.”

Actor Parambrata Chatterjee said: “After meeting Pavel for the first time, I could not even imagine that he can direct a film. After going through the script my perception towards him changed. I am sure that the audience will also like this film."

Surajit Mukherjee said: “I met Pavel da  for the first time while I was performing  at the Kolkata Drum Festival. Later, he took me to different workshops. We had regular rehearsals before the final shooting of the film started.”

Produced by Jalan International Films Pvt. Ltd the film is all set to release on Oct 2.
