Kaushik Ganguly's Lokkhi Chhele to release on Aug 26

Kolkata/IBNS: National award winning filmmaker Kaushik Ganguly's upcoming film Lokkhi Chhele, produced by Windows, is all set to hit the big screens this August.

The makers have fixed Aug 26 as the film's release date.

Lokkhi Chhele stars Ujaan Ganguly, Churni Ganguly, Ambarish Bhattacharya in the lead.

The film is centred on a young doctor who fights against the dark side of blind religious faith.

Speaking on the film, Kaushik Ganguly had earlier said in a statement, "Lokkhi Chele presents a deeper insight into the beliefs and ideologies of the society, which is a reflection of human behaviour across the globe."
