Pakistan: TikToker, who was filming video on India-Pakistan match, shot dead by security guard

A private security guard shot dead a Pakistani Tiktoker in Karachi city when he was shooting a video of the recently held T20 World Cup group stage match between India and Pakistan.

According to reports,  Saad Ahmed, 24, was filming the video near the  Sereena Mobile Mall when he approached the security guard, who was identified as 35-year-old  Ahmed Gul, and asked him a question on the match.

According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Central, the incident occurred within the limits of the Taimooria Police Station, reported Pro Pakistani news portal.

Initial investigations revealed that Gul, who works for a private company as a security guard, felt provoked by Ahmed’s gestures during the recording, the news portal reported.

The security guard has been arrested.

Police said further investigation into the incident is currently going on.
