Nitish Kumar elected as JD(U) president
Patna, Apr 10 (IBNS) Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Sunday was elected as the chief of Janata Dal United JD (U).
The move was taken in the National Council meeting of the party.
He replaced as the Sharad Yadav as the party president.
"Humbled by party's trust in me. Will try my best to carry @SharadYadavMP 's legacy forward as I accept the new role as president of JD(U)," Kumar tweeted.
