Five people injured as twin blasts hit Guwahati

Guwahati, Dec 5 (IBNS): At least five people, including a children, were injured as twin blasts hit Assam's capital Guwahati on Saturday.

According to reports, the incident took place at Fancy Bazar area in the city at around 3 pm.

Suspected militants have triggered the explosion in which five civilians were injured.

The injured people were rushed to Guwahati Medical College hospital for treatment .

Top police officials have rushed to the site of the blasts and started investigation into the matter.

More details are awaited.
