Assam rally: Modi promises to bring back looted money from banks
Guwahati, Mar 27 (IBNS): Addressing an election rally in Assam's Rangapara area, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday promised that he will bring back the money looted by the rich from the banks.
"The doors of banks were earlier open for the rich. When banks were made nationalised, it was said that poor people will have access. However, the poor remained deprived," said Modi.
The Prime Minister said that he has tightened to screw to bring back the looted money.
He also claimed that under his governance, poor people now have access to banks.
The assembly poll in the state will be held on April 4 and 11 in two phases.
