Air India staff dies after being sucked into aircraft engine at Mumbai airport
Mumbai, Dec 16 (IBNS): An Air India staff was sucked to death inside the engine of a parked aircraft at the Mumbai airport, media reports said.
The technical staff died instantly after being sucked into the engine.
The aircraft, AI 619, was at the parking bay and was being prepared for departure to Hyderabad.
"An Air India technician died in a mishap during pushback of flight AI 619, incident is being investigated," NDTV quoted Air India Chairman and Managing Director, Ashwani Lohani.
