AAP likely to take up Lokpal bill issue today

| | Nov 30, 2015, at 04:32 pm
New Delhi, Nov 30 (IBNS) The Aam Aadmi Party on Monday tweeted that it is likely to take up the Lokpal issue at the assembly.

Calling themselves dedicated to the cause of people, the AAP, which rose to prominence through a series of protests and strikes against the Indian Congress, then in power at the centre, became a force to reckon with, but have lost pace since, owing to the sacking of multiple leaders and dissent by several others.

Calling it a historic day, AAP tweeted: "AAP is committed for the Lokpal that was drafted at the Ramlila Maidan, & going forward we will discuss it today at the floor of the house."
