Putin says discussed Syria, Libya, nuclear power plant in Egypt during talks with Sisi

Beijing, Apr 27 (Sputnik) Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Saturday that he had discussed with his Egyptian counterpart, Abdul Fattah Sisi, during their meeting in Beijing, the construction of a nuclear power plant in Egypt with Russian participation, as well as the situations in Syria and Libya.

"In case with the Egyptian president, how could not we discuss our serious plans related to the construction of the nuclear power plant [in Egypt], how could not we discuss the regional situation and the situations in Syria and Libya?"

Putin said at a press conference following the Belt and Road summit in Beijing.
