Iran uses Indian movie action scene to mock Trump’s ‘annihilation’ remark

The meme was posted by the Iranian Embassy in Zimbabwe on its official X account, with Tehran sarcastically suggesting that the Trump administration had been watching Bollywood rather than Hollywood.

“Trump talks about annihilating Iran,” the post said.

“But he knows Iran is not defenseless. Since we informed, they have recently been watching Bollywood instead of Hollywood,” it added.

The clip features Telugu actor Nandamuri Balakrishna from the film Bhagavanth Kesari.

The action sequence shows an intense confrontation between two groups, with guns, riot shields and other weapons featured in the scene.

The post came after Trump said on Tuesday that he faces a “big decision” over the future of the US conflict with Iran, raising the possibility of either a diplomatic agreement or further military action against Tehran.

Speaking at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Trump framed the choice as whether to allow Iran to rebuild through a negotiated settlement or pursue further action against the Islamic Republic.

His remarks came days after he told Axios that he was approaching a critical juncture over whether to resume large-scale attacks against Iran.
