London tube station shooting leaves three injured

London, Aug 21 (IBNS): At least three people were injured in a shooting incident which took place outside an underground station in London on Monday, the police said.

Police have started investigating the matter.

London Metropolitan Police said the incident was not related to terrorism.

"Officers are at the scene of a shooting in #Kingsbury Road at 9.45pm on Monday. Not terror related. Three people taken to hospital, none believed to be life-threatening. #Brent officers investigating alongside #Trident colleagues," the police tweeted.

Speaking on the three injured people, the police said: "Both men – aged 18 and 24 - remain in hospital; neither is in a life-threatening condition. The 30-year-old woman has been discharged from hospital."

No arrest has been made so far.
