Fire at Croatian retirement home kills six
Zagreb/Xinhua: At least six people have died in a fire at a home for the elderly in northwestern Croatia on early Saturday, national broadcaster HRT quoted police as saying.
The fire in the Green Oasis facility in Andrasevac, 40 kilometers north of the country's capital of Zagreb, broke out at around 0400 hrs (GMT), local media reported.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze, which was extinguished by firefighters within an hour, is currently underway.
