Explosions reported across Ukraine

Explosions were reported in multiple Ukrainian regions on Friday after air raid alerts went off across the country's entire territory.

Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported a series of explosions within an hour. He later said that the explosions had damaged a warehouse and the building of a subway station that doubled as a shelter, Lukianivska.

"The air defence systems are working. Remain in bomb shelters," Klitschko said on Telegram.

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said that the city was hit by airstrikes after the activation of an air raid alert.

"We have been informed of two airstrikes in Lviv. We are waiting for more information from the operational services," Sadovyi said, as quoted by Ukrainian newspaper Dzerkalo Tyzhnia.

Sounds of blasts were also heard in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, and Odesa, as well as in cities and towns in the Sumy, Khmelnytskyi, and Ternopil regions.

Precision strikes against Ukrainian infrastructure have been carried out by Russia since October 10, two days after the first attack on the Crimean Bridge.
