New York, Sept 25 (IBNS): Canada's high-level United Nations charm offensive is likely to be underway, media reports said.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a hint as he is now present in New York for the United National General Assembly (UNGA).

Trudeau shared the dais with members of the Council of Foreign Nations.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland and Trade Diversification Minister Jim Carr.

Freeland said the question of job retraining is the primary preoccupation of the federal government in Canada, CTV News reported.

She also said the federal government is committed to work together with all the Canadians, report said.
