The screening of Dhurandhar: The Revenge faced disruptions at a theatre in Canada after a section of the audience allegedly vandalised the screen.

When things escalated, it got out of hand, and the police had to intervene, with officers making their way to the theatres, reported News18.

Several videos of the incident have now gone viral on the internet, showing the damaged screen in the cinema hall.

One internet user wrote in Instagram: "I have heard of multiple movie screens being destroyed during this movie. I will definitely be watching this movie now since people are trying to silence it."

Another said: " Well..the movie itself is about terrorists and inspired by real events and characters..obviously the terrorists themselves won't like it and do terrorism in theatres. Not name dropping but if you know you know!"

An internet user said: "There are terr0r!sts or their sympathisers in your city who don't want people to see this movie."

Box Office storm

Meanwhile,Dhurandhar: The Revenge is on a record-breaking spree, delivering a massive surge at the box office and cementing its status as one of the biggest blockbusters of the year.

The spy thriller witnessed a huge jump on Day 3, collecting ₹113 crore nett on Saturday alone, according to Sacnilk.

With this, the film’s three-day domestic total has climbed to an impressive ₹296.27 crore nett, after opening with ₹102.55 crore on Thursday and earning ₹80.72 crore on Friday. The sharp rebound on Saturday signals strong word-of-mouth and sustained audience momentum.

The film’s performance globally has been equally remarkable. Dhurandhar: The Revenge has already crossed the ₹500 crore mark worldwide, with overseas earnings estimated at ₹96.50 crore, taking the total global haul to around ₹501.04 crore in just three days.

A major driver of this success has been its exceptional overseas traction, particularly in North America.

The film secured one of the widest releases ever for an Indian movie in the region, playing across 4,405 shows.

Even before spot bookings, advance sales for Day 3 had crossed two lakh tickets, generating nearly ₹23.70 crore, reflecting massive anticipation among audiences.

Trade analysts suggest the film is on track to register one of the highest single-day collections for an Indian film in the North American market.

The momentum is not limited to the US and Canada. In the UK as well, the film is drawing packed houses, with reports of multiple sold-out screenings, including seven houseful shows in a single day in Belfast.
