Mumbai: Manisha Purohit says Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan celebrates divine love, something that Lord Krishna shared with Radha. Apart from that the show is high on emotion, highlights family values. In short, she opines that the show is a complete package. Manisha plays the role of Kaveri in it.

“Every character is beautifully written. The background story and space given to each of them explains much about who they are and what has made them the person that they have become. The script is also good,” she adds.

Manisha feels that people enjoy relatable stories. Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan fits the bill because it’s a modern day narrative.

About the response Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan has been getting, she adds, “It’s been overwhelming. People show their love through the messages and also write to us saying how they can't wait for the next episode to come. All this love is both humbling and motivating.”

Manisha shares that the content on television now has a lot more creativity and are able to deliver a complete package. This evolution in times like these was much-needed. It’s believed that saas-bahu sagas still have their charm even though shows like Pyar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan are experimenting with new content.

“Parivartan sansar ka niyam hai vo time pe tv ki vo beauty thi and samay ke sath ab yeh hai. Every genre has its audience and we have to respect that,” she says.
