Youth found murdered in Punjab's Bassi Pathana

Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab/UNI: A youth was found murdered in railway colony, Bassi Pathana in Punjab on Wednesday.

After receiving information, Fatehgarh Sahib SSP Amneet Kondal, SP Harpal Singh and other senior officers reached on spot and started an investigation.

According to information, Suvinder Kumar (25), originally a resident of Uttar Pradesh was presently living in Railway Colony, Bassi Pathana in rented accommodation with his two colleagues and was selling burgers.

Police have questioned his colleagues about the murder as one Bhupinder Singh, in his statement to police, said he had come to know that there was a quarrel between the deceased and his friends.

Fatehgarh Sahib SP Harpal Singh said police is thoroughly investigating the case.
