A young techie couple from Telangana has died by suicide at their home in Bengaluru in a shocking sequence of events, media reports said.

Bhanu Chander Reddy Kunta, 32, a software engineer from Siddipet, reportedly hanged himself in a room at his apartment on Monday.

When his wife, Bibi Shaziya Siraj, 31, who worked with IBM, found the room locked and received no response from her husband, she alerted security and neighbors.

After the door was forcibly opened, Bhanu was found dead. Moments later, Shaziya reportedly jumped to her death from the 17th floor of the same residential complex.

Authorities have registered two separate reports of unnatural deaths, based on complaints filed by family members in Telangana.

Investigators are examining possible factors, including health concerns, relationship issues, and emotional distress, while awaiting post-mortem reports.
