Uttar Pradesh Coronavirus Scare: Ayodhya Idol shifted

Ayodhya/UNI:  Amid chanting of hymn and vedic sholakas in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and saints,'Ram Lalla' and other idols were shifted from the Garbha griihya to a temporary structure near Manas Bhawan in Ram Janmabhoomi premises on Wednesday.

The idols would stay at the bullet proof makeshift temple till completion of the construction of Ram Temple.

The new makeshift temple is around 250 meters away from the old tented temporary temple.

On the occasion Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also presented a cheque of Rs 11 lakh for the construction of the grand Ram temple temple.

The CM, who attended the puja and arti at the new temple after the idols were placed, told the media that the first phase of construction of a grand Ram Temple has been completed and now the construction work would start soon.

According to sources, there would a programme to hold a big Bhumi pujan on April 30 where Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat were likely to be present. The decision on the date would be taken at the meeting of the Ram Janambhoomi Tirth Khetra Trust to be held here on April 4.
