There have been several cuts in social spending by this government: Scindia

New Delhi, May 20 (IBNS):Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia on Wednesday slammed the Centre and said it has performed several cuts in social spending sector.

Addressing a press conference, Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia said: "There have been several cuts in social spending bythis government."

"Even the allocation of Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan has been reduced by 80%," he said.

He called the government as a "Photo Op Sarkar".

Hitting out at the government, he said: "The whole institutional mechanism like CIC,CVC,Lokpal to tackle the menace of corruption has been uprooted."

The Narendra Modi -led government is all set to complete one year in office next week.
