Srinagar, Nov 25 (IBNS) A solider was killed and a colonel injured as heavily armed terrorists attacked an army camp in Tangdar near the Line of Control (LoC) in North Kashmir's Kupwara district on Wednesday morning.
A senior Police official told IBNS on phone that three  to four heavily armed militants opened fire and threw grenades on the camp. They took position in Darshak forests adjacent to the Kalsuri ridge.

The army men also retaliated to engage themselves in a fierce exchange of fire.

An oil depot in the Army camp caught fire in the gun battle which is still going on.  There are about 80 soldiers in the base.
